IF she is having multiple births, she will need to wait until after the birth to have him sign away his parental rights. This can be done somewhat simultaneously. You will need to hire the services of an attorney. When issues involve children the court is reluctant to do "do overs" when mistakes are made and those matters are long and drawn out. In the meantime, your husband could be paying child support for the period of time that she has to wait. Further, I would suspect your husband might would like to know IF THE CHILDREN ARE HIS, by having a paternity test done.
As the saying goes, if she ran with him knowing he was married, who else did she run with.
The court does all or none, either both parents give up their rights or the adoption does not go through. They rarely just terminate the rights of one parent.
