Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I need to get several sworn affidavits done in Florida for a custody case in Louisiana. Do I need an attorney to prepare them and who should sign them and verify that these affidavits are true statments?

Such affidavits should be prepared by one experienced in such documents so that the affidavit satisfies the requirements of family law and reflects the existing legal documents relating to present custody. Also, because the case involves Louisiana law, such affidavits must conform to any specific state requirements which may vary from those of Florida.
Also are affidavits in Louisana acceptable without the party attending the hearing. They are not here in Florida - the opposing party must have the opportunity to question the affiant.
