Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Teen custody case

I am 16 years old currently my father has primary custody. I would like to live with my mom next year, but my father tells me that I can't move unless I have a 2.5 Grade Point Average in school. Can he keep me from living with my mom, and if he does can i fight it?

Re: Teen custody case

My gosh you want your mother to fight your dad for suggesting you maintain a 2.5 (C+) grade average. Shame on you. Education is your most important goal in life right now.

I hope your mother will not take a position that a 2.0 or less is acceptable.

You have no right to fight it, but your mother does.
