Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

what is a temorary orders hearing? and what goes on at a temorary orders hearing. my husband has one set for 12/9/2009 in dallas texas. I have never done any of this before.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You show up at the hearing or you can ask the judge/clerk/JA to appear telephonically. The substance of the issue will be discussed. If you do not make an appearance, you lose by default.

You didn't tell me any substance, so that's all I can say.
