Temporary Restraining Orders/Injunctions

Is there a cutoff as to the number of temporary injunctions one can bring against another (same parties). Can the injunction become permanent, lifelong? What is the typical minimum?

There is no maximum number of injunctions that one person can bring against another. Lifelong injunctions get issued often, but they are uncommon. Generally, the shortest allowable "permanent" injunction is six months, but they usually last longer.
