Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hi. I am trying to get temporary only spousal support from my estranged husband. I am indigent at the moment with no funds whatsoever. His income exceeds 60k. He left me for an ex wife in the middle of a move from Florida to Delaware in late June. We had not moved our things yet. I had a job offer in Delaware but could not stay and take it once he left. I went back to Florida to seek help and waited 3 weeks for legal aid (meanwhile staying in Indiana with a relative) only to be told I am not physically in Florida with a permanent address thus not qualified for legal aid. I asked if a homeless person could get help and they said no. How can I get urgent temporary support ordered? I am desperate. There are no minor children. I have no money to speak of. I have not established residency in any other state. I was in Florida for 5 years. Please help.

If he is still in Florida or whatever state he is in, you may file in the court of that county for temporary spousal support regardless of where you are residing.

You should get an attorney to help you in this endeavor.
