Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Timely filing

I had a court case in April. The judge asked my lawyer to prepare the final order. It is now the end of June and the final order still has not been prepared by my lawyer. Is there a time limit on submitting this? Without the signed court order I can not enforce any of the judges decisions. What recourse do I have against my lawyer if this remains undone. My Ex was ordered to pay the lawyers fees so I'm wondering how that effects this?

Re: Timely filing

You need to pursue this with your lawyer pronto! It sounds like he/she may be approaching if not already in "malpractice" or at least "grievance" land with the Florida Bar. You may need to contact another lawyer just for the purpose of lighting the fire under your current one. GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! In what county do you live? Perhaps I can recommend someone to call.
