Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I was told that I have to appear in court to conduct a sounding hearing? I do not know what a sounding hearing is? I go to court on Monday with a Jury Trial.

Just another antiqated wording for a pretrial and/or actual hearing that all parties must be present including witnesses.
