Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
After I told my Girlfriend that I would never get re-married....My Girlfriend and I agreed to have a "Love Commitment" Ceremony on the beach for the sake of her children..
1) Ceremony was in Alabama
2) I reside in Florida
3) We never moved in together...she stayed in her house in Alabama because of her children and would just come over to Florida to see me periodically..Sometimes for extended periods during her summer off...She never got mail nor got phone calls at my house.
4) No joint homeownership together or joint business dealings
5) No joint checking accounts
6) She maintained her previous married name and never used mine
7) Now she has decided her children are more important than our marriage....I can't argue with that...
8) Now I think she has gotten a Lawyer and planning on coming after some of my property
9) We both brought money into this relationship....and both spent it on our selves and her children..their phones...their cars....their clothes etc..
10) Can she file any type of legal action against me ...She has maintained her residency in Alabama and I have maintained mine in Florida...
HELP !!!

You are married. You have a child. Plan on paying child support.
