Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have been told grandparents do not have rights in FL yet the FL statute has chapter 752 which indicates this may not be true. We were the legal guardians of our granddaughter for 22 months. She went back to her mother 3 months ago and the mother is fighting us on visitation. My son who is the father is out of the picture. The parents were never married. Do we have rights or not?

If in the child's best interest you can petition the court for visitation.
