Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Tonight my wife was told by our son that he signed away his parental rights . It would have taken place in Pinellas County , Florida . Where would I check to see if this actually happened ? Is it Public Record or is it Sealed ? We are the child in questions Grandparents is there any legal action we can take to preserve our right to see the Grandchild ? Ive been lie to so many times by both of the young parents involved that im not sure what has happened and what has not . BTW .... The mother of the child has gotten married to someone else and is planning on leaving the country with her new husband . He is in the military and going to be stationed in germany . Im very concerned things have already gone to far and we might not get to ever see the Grandchild again . Thank's for your time ....

there wouldhave been an action in the court. Check the court records and then contact Dept. of Children and Family services, ask them for their help. When is the last time you saw this child? There are no "grandparent rights" in the state of Florida - sad to say. However, if your son really DID NOT sign away his rights, then he could fight her leaving the country or at least establish a parenting visitation plan with the court.
