My step son wants to give up his parental rights so he doesn't have to pay child support. What does the mother have to do? One attorney said she would have to give up her rights and let her parents adopt the child. I told her that wasn't correct. She shouldn't ahve to give up her rights because the father does. Please help! They live in Florida.
