Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Is it true that Dept of Revenue will not enforce a child support order if the current amout due is less than the original amout of the order? Example- original order was for $24,000. Current arrears is $20,000. Payments stopped for more than 60 days. Dept of Revenue will not enforce.

My experience has been they will only enforce it:
1. Child has not aged out of Child Support system, and
2. The current amount owed is greater than $ 9,000.00.
If he is only 60 days late and the current amount owed is 2 months of payments I doubt DOR will help.
