Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

unmarried couple in regards to child custody
I am the mother of a 10 month old son. He was born in Fl. Due to a landlord issue where the county put stop work orders on the house which we were renting I came to Alabama with my son to live with my father since I had no other place to go. At that time, My son's father also didn't have any safe place to go in respect to the baby's safety. Since I have come to Alabama, the two of us have broken up. He will be getting his own home in FL in about 2 weeks and now wants our son to come back to Florida and said that I am not allowed to leave the state again with our son once I return. All of my support systems and future plans for going back to school are here in Alabama. I have nothing in Florida anymore. Can he permit me from permantely moving to Alabama with my son??? After all, I have been the primary caretaker since my child has been born and his father and I never married.

No, and start a custody proceeding in Ala.
