If the unmarried man signs birth cerificate after birth of child and is later found not to be biological father of that child, is he legally responsible for that child?

It depends on time. The potential father has exactly one year to challenge paternity. After that, the man is stuck with child support for 17 years even if the baby is not his own and even if he was tricked by the woman.
