Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I currently have a visitation agreement with my childs mother for my child and in it, it states that neither one of us can take the child out of state unless the other one consents to it. i have learned that she is planning on moving up north with my child she just hasnt filed paperwork yet. she has about 5 contempts for not showing up and she is very unstable in following the visitation agreement. will the judge allow her to move out of state and what can i do to prevent this from happening . what will she need to file and how long will it take to get a court date?i know if she moves the chances of me seeing my child are very slim. even with a court order. she doesnt follow one now.

She will need to file a Petition to Relocate with the child - you have the option at that time to file your objections and appear for the hearing. I suggest you hire an attorney as there are no do overs. When dealing with children it is best NOT to try and go pro se. If I can be of assistance, please contact my office for an appointment.
