Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

visitation after battery

My x boyfriend is facing time before a judge for battery against two women who were living with him at his apartment. I am worried for my 2 year old childs safety. He has a temporary visitation ordered. Can I keep her from visitation because of this? He was violent to me while I was with him but had no proof.

Re: visitation after battery

You shouldn't violate a court order by denying visitation, but it sounds like you should immediately get the court order changed so that his visitation is at least supervised.
