visitation for grandparents
my son's wife says i cant see my granddaughter unless i do the samethings with her daughter, this just doesnt seem right ,her daughter is 6 years old and will not listen or mind me and argues with my husband the whole time she is here at our home, so we quit bringing her with my 8 year old granddaughter, so now i cant bring my grnaddaughter back over here with out her daughter, but if she wont mind us she is not welcome here, and yes i told her why we dont let her come, and she says we need to have patience with her she is just a little girl, she is just a different type of child, i told her she wont make her mind at home so whe doesnt mind any where she goes, so now she says i cant see my granddaughter unless i do the same with her daughter, that just doesnt seem fair to my grand daughter, i helped my son raise her and they lived with me for her first 5 years, we have a very speciel relationship, now i cant see her, please help

Re: visitation for grandparents
I see what "my son's wife says" but what does "my son say." Assuming, at this point, he backs her, to me it looks like everyone should head to some family counseling.
The sad thing is the children don't know what's going on and they just know the tension in the air when the adults start to cluster.
This is more of a social/psychological situation that counseling hopefully will help everybody understand their roles here.
