Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Visitation Issues

My boyfriend has a daughter that lives in Georgia. The divorce was recently finalized in Florida and he received a decent visitation schedule. They both were granted shared parenting responsibility and the first scheduled, court appointed visit is coming up for his daughters spring break. His daughter gets out on a Friday for spring break and he would like to pick her up on that day after school. His ex-wife is stating that she will drop off their daughter on that Sunday because she says that her spring break does not technically begin until that Monday and she would be doing him a favor. How is this supposed to be resolved when the courts final judgment does not define what is considered to be the official beginning of her spring break(the Friday that she is released for school or the Monday that she has off from school?) or the mode of transportation for his daughter to spend with him? Because this will continue to happen for each designated break if something isnt done.

Re: Visitation Issues

Technically, I believe that school vacations begin on the last day of school. However, I would still try to cooperate and not get stuck on technicalities. I would maybe keep the child an extra day or two on the other side of the visitation period or during another visit to balance things out, if necessary. Any attempt at working things out is better than going back to court when it comes to this type of matter. Ditto for mode of transportation. Note that if this is a big issue, it should have been addressed during the dissolution process.
