Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Visitation - supervised
I was 4mths pregnant and the other woman called to let me know that she existed. Ex agreed to supervised visitation for 4 years and I could leave Illinois. I moved to FL to be closer to family to help with child who is now 14mths we divorced the baby was 2 months. He is now remarried to the o/woman and wants her to spend time with my son. I am not budging on it. He moved to Atlanta and sees the child every 4 to 2 months a total of maybe 28 hours in 14 months. He does not speak to me about the baby and has expressed how much he hates me because I took everything. He told me he was taking me to court so his wife can see my son and that I am never going to go on vacation out of FL as I cannot take my son. How can I let my 14 month old son be alone with them. Also since my divorce was in IL and i now reside in FL he lives in GA where is jurisdiction.

Re: Visitation - supervised
Florida is the state with jurisdiction. The child has resided there over 6 mos. The rest of what he says is just bellowing. He's trying to scare you. Apparently he's doing a good job. Good luck.
