Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I wanted to know if I filed for child support and my babies father is unfit what I need to get to make him sign his rights over once paternity is proven... I do not trust him around my daughter and I worry that he might try and take her but not bring her back. I went thru that once already and that was the last time he saw her. I was just curious what I needed to do regarding this...

You cannot have it both ways if you collect chld support his rights are not terminated. If you want to terminate his rights then legally he does not exist and you get zero child support. The other alternative tis to restrict his time sharing with the children. Contact my office for free consultation.

File for child support - he is not entitled to see the child unless he files a paternity suit and/or requests a visitation schedule (I am assuming you and he are not married and only his name is on the birth certificate). Once he files for visitation, you can file with DCF to have him and his home environment investigated. If things are not up to par, you can request supervised visits.
