Unless she had the home in her sole name prior to the marriage there should be no reason why you should not be able to go back to your home and stay there. If you have children, you would best be advised to go back unless your safety would be in danger if you did.

First of you all, you probably acted quickly in moving out of the house. Just because someone has filed for divorce doesn't necessarily mean you have to move out. Unless there is a court order saying otherwise, you should still be allowed to stay in the house. You should probably also try to check with the Clerk's office to see if your wife did in fact file for a divorce. If she has filed, then the papers are probably on their way to be served to you as well.
