Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Me and my wife bought a business during the marriage, we have a contract stating how much each gets from the profit and what percentage each own. the judge awarded the business to the wife in a divorce, the question is does the divorce judge have jurisdiction over business contracts made between two people even if the two people are married? The other question is my ex never gave me my share of the profit and she incorporated the business without my knowledge, can I still sue my wife for breach of contract? Please answer both questions if possible. I did ask an attorny and the answer was I can but I am still not sure. thanks
