Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex wife claimed the child care deduction on her taxes and our divorce states that the husband shall be entitled to declare the minor child as a dependent on his federal income tax returns every odd numbered year so long as he is current in his child support obligation. Because she claimed the deduction, that only leaved me with the child tax credit. Shouldn't I be entitled to claim the child care deduction also during odd years.

go to the nearest IRS office - show them the Order by the Court, show them your Child support payment printout that you are in compliance - they will do your tax returns according to the Order and they will find her for filing and request a refund of the monies she received.
