Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

my wife filed for divorce on 5 feb 2009 and i responded to petition on may 5 2009. iam in florida.. case will expire after 1 year. will it expire on feb 5 or may 5 2010? case is pending now and what for should i file to reopen the case?

If you filed an Answer the case will not be dismissed or otherwise "expire" after one year. If the clerk of court was planning to dismiss for lack of action you would receive written notice of a hearing.
