Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My wife and I are filing for divorce. She has not worked for 15 Years. Do I have an alimony obligation? I will support my 14 year old son who will live with her most of the time.

Yes, you do have an alimony obligation as your wife does not have income. However, your obligation may be temporary (if she is physically able to work). Factors such as: if she becomes employed, remarries, etc can do away with your obligation to work. You should discuss the matter further with your divorce attorney.

Really not enough info as to your situation. She may be entitled under rehabilitative alimony - meaning some income while she attends school to get a degree and/or training for a job.
