Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Can my wife take my kids out of the state of Florida without my permission?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Are you talking about relocating, or just a vacation?
Generally, as long as there is no Court involvement, either parent can take the kids anywhere they want.
If she is attempting to move out of State, you should promptly pursue Court action as soon as possible.
If there is already a pending divorce case, she is not supposed to relocate more then 50 miles with the children.
If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.
