Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My wife left home today. She expects me to pay for the mortgage and all the house expenses. She is renting an apartment. The mortgage is on my name and the deed is on both names. Can she just leave and leave me with all these expenses? I live in Florida (broward). No divorce yet, just separating for now. Thanks

File for divorce, and ask for alimony. REally need more info because you have not stated how long you were married, how much equity is in the house - how long have you owned the house ? Need more info to answer youl.
