Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

When my ex wife left me she was pregnant. When she went to court for the divorce I didn't attend because I wasn't contesting. I was ordered to pay a ridiculous amount that I couldn't afford to pay. I never sign the birth certificate. When I ask the Dept of Child for a paternity test they told me it was to late. So my question is. Is there a statue of limitation on establishing paternity in Florida

Florida has unusual laws about the "legal father" and a "Biological Father". You need to have a sit down meeting with an attorney. Whether or not you signed the Birth Certificate is not controlling.
