My wife and I are separated and are starting paper work for divorce. However, I have already started giving her money for our two children of an amount agreed by us both. I
She recently told me that she got fired from work due to her calling out a lot. She has been wanting to not work for some time now and has told me she is releaged to be out of work. How does this effect me as far as the divorce goes?

Child Support is based on both parties income. Is the Wife is not working income may be imputed to her. See an attorney.
You failed to state how long you were married which has a lot to do with your question. However assuming a 10 to 15 year marriage you're looking at both child support and alimony.
When you do go through a divorce you should certainly hire what's known as a vocational expert to determine her income propensity for imputation purposes. You will need to consult an attorney about this. Good luck!
