Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Last Will and Testament

Can I change my will by crossing out something and then having it notarized. I want to delete a beneficiary. Will the documeit still be legal and binding if I do this or do I have to go to an attorney for this change.

No. You cannot cross out items on a Last Will and Testament once it has been witnessed and notarized. It will invalidate the entire Will. Instead, you should have a Codicil drafted with the same formality as the Will.
