Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Withheld Child Support
Ex and his lawyer are holding child support hostage until my location is disclosed, the catch is, it was never a secret. They have always had my address. I cant keep a lawyer on the case because they say they dont want to deal with the ex because he is(i'll be nice)Very outspoken. How can I get my child support released from his ''trust account'' without an attorney? This case is very complex, but this is one hurdle that is not warranted. I have a mountain of paperwork from the states involved if anyone is up for a simple yet interesting task.

Re: Withheld Child Support
This one sounds like you really need an attorney to help you through. There are plenty who will do it on reduced fee because it is child support enforcement. I also think it's possible to do child support collection on a contingency fee basis. Do not spend your life's energy doing battle with this man and trying to muddle through the sytem and the legal shenanigans he will pull. Get a contingency fee, reduced or flat fee attorney who is a "pit bull" to take on this case and your ex. Getting to the funds in a trust might be intricate, especially if it was set up as an irrevocable trust. Bite the bullet. Don't mess around with this alone. You will be in over your head and back where you started, later in time, before you know it. I'd be happy to recommend a couple of attorney whose "bark", i know, IS as bad as their bite when it needs to be. Your ex won't intimidate 'em all!
