I was wondering what my chances were of getting sole custody of my daughter since my ex-husbands new wife keep threatening me with the law and it scaring my daughter.

Hire a psychologist - have your daughter counselled with that person and get a report for the court. Then file the action for Sole Custody. Not saying you will get it but with the report then you have evidence in hand and not hearsay.
In order to request sole custody you would have to have a good case. You should hire a child psychologist and have your daughter attend counseling. You may not get sole custody but you definitely won't if you don't provide the court with the right kind of evidence.
Sole custody is a difficult burden of proof to meet so you need to get a lawyer to help you make the case with the judge. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659.
