worker comp and child support

are you required to pay child support if you can not work and on worker comp due to injury

Yes. Workers' comp payments are considered income subject to child support. However, if you are making less than you would be if you were working your regular job, your child support may need to be reduced pursuant to Florida's child support guidelines.
