Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My writing in regards to my 18mth old daughter im wanting to leave her father and i want to know what my rights are as her mother,I currently unemployed but will be seeking a job before i leave and staying with my mother,im a full time student changing over to online classes to better my future with my daughter. Her father makes very good money and he rents a house and i feel since he has all that his chances are better. But i am the one who shows her all the attention and cares for her 24/7.I love her so much what can i do??

Courts do not usually give children to the father unless you have done something so horrible that DCF would become involved. So stop worrying. You did not give alot of information but I will try to answer you. Are you married to this man? Is his name on the birth certificate? Either way, you may apply to the court for child support and for the rental house as a home for you and your child. It will depend on how long you have been married. If not married, you are still entitled to child support.

Give more info and you will get a better answer. Sorry for your problems but do not worry about losing your child.
