Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

wrongfuly accused

My husband and I have been caring for his 2 girls for the past 5 years. End of this May we let them visit with there birth mother, who lives in Illinois, who they have not seen in these 5 years. Within a few days my husband and I found ourselves in an investigation with the FL Department of Childtren and Famlies over accusations of sexually abusing our children. This was 3 weeks ago and yesterday we were cleared of any and all charges. Friends have told me that since we have been cleared and everything came out ok, we could take legal action over the accuser. What are my options?

Depends on whether accuser was just be malicious or had cause.
