Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My X husband and I took a lot of time to negotiate a parenting plan. In the plan it states that our commmunication will primarily be thru email and we would use the phone only when necessary. His wife is jealous again (despite that we live on opposity sides of the country) and I got a letter from his lawyer stating that the only way to contact him now will be thru a PO Box. There is not a lot to discuss, but there are some details every month that need to be worked out.
Does he have the right to just change our parenting agreement by dictating that I only use a PO box to contact him. I thought that a legal document remained in effect until it was changed (or the children aged out).

His lawyer will need to file a modification of the parenting plan and you will need to review for your consent. He can not just arbitrarily change the plan by writing a letter. It would be helpful to know who has custody of the children. If you are across the world without the children, this would be highly inappropriate.
