Xhusband passed away in our divorce decree states the vechicle is to be my possesion and his debt to pay it off he never paid the vechicle went into default ..the firm representing the bank said they closed the case a year ago .how do I go about getting tne title

The described facts in your inquiry indicate the title is no longer in your ex-husband's name so you have no legal right to the title. You may have a claim for the value of the vehicle to assert against his estate; otherwise, you it appears you have limited options regarding your claim. If you were given possession but not ownership, you have no right to title.
