If youare arrested for domestic voilence in escambia county, and the charges got droped. Can my husband file for a divorce for free here. I have already filed and have been going throught a divorce in Lkae city florida since 9-13-08

There is a filing fee for all divorces.

You can't file a petition for divorce for free, but you can request that the clerk allow you to make payments on the filing fee. Divorces can't usually take place in two counties, though. If he files in Escambia County, the divorce will take place in the county where the two of you last lived together as husband and wife.
