Is diverticulitis covered by the FMLA?

The law does not cover specific diseases but rather those that require hospitalization or three or more days of incapacity plus medical treatment, among other things.

There are also other eligibility guidelines for both the employee and the employer who must have at least 50 employees to come under the law.
