Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

How often can you used Family medical Leave ACt

I recently underwent surgery in OCt 07 and was on FMLA until Dec 07. I was told today that I have to have another operation this FEB08. Does the FMLA start over per calender year or is it cumaltive.
