There are not enough facts to provide any advice to you. If you had a work related injury, you have remedies under workers compensation.
Re: fmla exhausted with a work injury
You can be on Florida's Workers' Compensation and FMLA leave at the same time. It is unclear why you feel that your case has been handled improperly. I would suggest that you speak with your attorney or contact a Workers' Comp/Employment attorney to discuss this matter.
FMLA is only for 12 weeks. It provides employees with a protection of reinstatement of the position the employee left due to a serious health condition/birth of a child.
