What you happen if after the 12 weeks i still can't return to work for the same reason? Will I get fired? can i collect some type of disability or unemployment while on FMLA?

Your job is no longer secure after the FMLA time runs out. You may qualify for social security disability. You may qualify under a disability policy that you or your employer have for you.
