Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

last year I was involved in car accident at work and was hurt with disc problems in my neck and back.Last Fri 2/13/09 my back went out again, this happened at home. went to the doctor, he but me out of work for 2 weeks. yesterday I received 6 injection in my back facet joint and some other kind. I will be reevaluater on 3/3/09. I am in constant pain I am hoping the injection will do the job. I have to lift an total of 50lb's and do alot on bending and lifting at work. I am a plant technician. My boss has in formed me the owner has stated that anyone that goes out on workmans comp will be fired. I made a decision not to, even though I know it's from were and tear on my back from years of doing this. I just took unpaid sick time. They gave me such a hard time last year when i was on comp, I did not want the aggervation. I am I good employee, never call out sick, have excellent right up's and have beed awarded bounes because of my work. I am hoping to be back to work asap I can not afford to be out.I am not getting paid. can they fire me?? please help.I am so afraid if these injections dont work they will have to operate. I did give them the doctors note. If thats the case can i take FMla
