Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida
My mother provides 24hr care, as the sole caregiver to her terminally ill brother. He was released by Hospice to come home and die. She was denied FMLA. I know brothers are not a covered relative, but is there ANY POSSIBLE recourse?

She needs to talk to her employer. Leave is hard on employers too, so she needs to explain why she needs time away and how much.
