Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

position eliminated

the same day of returning to work I was told my position in Customer service has been eliminated and we placed you in wholsale (lower position) 3 grades lower. Basically demoted!!! You now report to supersivor... My pay didn't not change however the scale changed which means I will not receive a increase at time of review. I've requested an explanation of why didn't i get a answer yet and that's been since Aug. 1st. I've spoken with HR. She send replies (via email) that she will need to speak to the Manager and will get back to you on early next week. Can you help me with this.
