pregnant and stressed
I am 14 weeks pregnant and my job has me up under alot of stress, How do I go about taking a leave of absence for a couple of weeks?

You ask. Unfortunately, pregnancy gives you no right to time off. Your "time off" rights don't start until after you have the baby.

Ask. You have no right to time off because of stress of pregnancy until you have the baby. See your doctor and see what he says. If there is a medical necessity, you may have sick time to use. Try to work something out with your employer. If they do give you time off, it may be unpaid, which could cause more stress.
