Sick leave use in conjuction with FMLA
My Wife and I have a child that that has been placed with us
for adoption.I work for the post office and have accured sick
leave.May I substitute unpaid leave for paid leave using my
sick leave?

I sometimes answer questions here and also happen to be a USPS attorney at the Suncoast District office. Let me know who your supervisor and FMLA coordinator are, too, so I can make sure they have the correct info. The answer relates to postal policy, not the law.
