Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
In 1976 my parents borrowed $1,000 from me. It was to be paid back. To this day, they have never paid me back. Do I legal recourse?

Probably not. Statutes of Limitations - unless special circumstances..

It depends on the terms of the agreement. was here anything in writing about it? If more than 5 years has expired since it was to be paid back and based on a written document, likely the statute of limitations has run. (4 years if it is an oral contract.)
