Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
My 1993 Thunderbird broke down on the Florida Turnpike just nojrthwest of Oralndo late Tuesday eveing, by Friday morning when I went to retrieve it, it had already been towed and put in car storage. Now the place that has it wants a huge amount of money to get it back. I could not pay and offered to just give them the car in payment, they said yes, and I would still owe over 500.00. I do not have this kind of money and now they are threatening to put a lien on my dirvers license until I pay them. I am a partially diabled veteran and have no money to keep paying, I feel this is very wrong.

I am not sure what you're question is, but it is unlawful to abandon your car on the road.
